Ankle Pain
Ankle pain and swelling is most commonly associated with trauma and sports-related injuries, such as an ankle fracture, or an injury to the ligaments of the ankle, such as an ankle sprain. However, agitation and discomfort may also occur due to overuse injuries, which can range from mild joint pain to Achilles tendonitis.
Foot Pain
While the shoes we wear are often blamed for foot pain, foot pain is most often associated with trauma (e.g. foot fracture), disease (e.g. osteoarthritis), deformities (e.g. bunions) or stress injuries.

- Swelling or tenderness that persists or worsens after 2-3 days
- If the afflicted area looks deformed or if you have lost function

Fracture Care
Central Indiana Orthopedics offers full-service orthopedic care for bone fractures with a goal of restoring function as quickly as possible. Services include onsite imaging and casting, physical therapy and surgery, if needed. In most cases, patients can expect to see the same provider throughout their course of treatment.
