Anthem HealthSync Designated Orthopedic Network

Quality-Driven Hip & Knee Replacement Care for Anthem HealthSync Members

Central Indiana Orthopedics (CIO) is proud to participate in the Anthem HealthSync Designated Orthopedic Network, expanding access to quality-driven, cost-efficient hip and knee replacement care for eligible Anthem HealthSync members.

As part of this participation, CIO’s orthopedic surgeons and affiliated ambulatory surgery centers, including CIO Fishers Surgery Center and CIO Muncie Surgery Center, provide care through a value-based model focused on clinical quality, patient outcomes and care coordination.

Understanding the Anthem HealthSync Designated Orthopedic Network

The Anthem HealthSync Designated Orthopedic Network connects eligible members with experienced orthopedic surgeons and facilities for primary and revision hip and knee replacement procedures.

Designed to improve quality and affordability in hip and knee replacement care, the network helps create a more predictable and coordinated experience for patients while reducing variation in care. By connecting members with qualified providers and facilities, the program aims to improve overall patient outcomes.

Benefits for Eligible Anthem HealthSync Members

Through the network, eligible members benefit from:

  • Access to experienced orthopedic specialists
  • Care delivered in facilities that meet defined quality and safety standards
  • A coordinated care experience from evaluation through recovery

Why CIO Was Selected for the Network

Participation in the Anthem HealthSync Designated Orthopedic Network is based on demonstrated performance in clinical quality, patient outcomes and cost efficiency. Participating providers must meet rigorous performance standards, including achievement of Blue Distinction® Specialty Care recognition for superior patient outcomes in hip and knee replacement care.

CIO’s participation reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering quality-driven orthopedic care through experienced surgeons, advanced technology and a patient-centered approach to treatment and recovery.
