Our commitment at Central Indiana Orthopedics is to provide you with the highest level of care in a comfortable, safe atmosphere. Our outpatient surgery centers are specifically designed and built for that purpose.

We perform a comprehensive range of advanced specialty outpatient surgical services, including Mako SmartRobotics™ for total hip or total/partial knee replacement procedures. Unlike traditional hospitals where outpatient and inpatient surgeries are performed, our surgery centers are designed and staffed specifically for specialized outpatient surgeries only. Because of this unique focus on orthopedic outpatient procedures, our staff is experienced in and dedicated to giving you the individualized, expert care you deserve.

Our board-certified orthopedic surgeons can perform a variety of surgical procedures in our outpatient surgery centers, including:

• Ankle surgery or foot surgery
• Back surgery, neck surgery or spine surgery
• Elbow surgery
• Hand surgery or wrist surgery
• Hip surgery
• Knee surgery
• Shoulder surgery
• Surgery for sports-related injuries, including ligament and tendon repair or reconstruction
• Joint replacement and joint revision surgery

If your surgery cannot be performed in an outpatient setting, our surgeons can perform your surgery at several local hospitals.

Hip & Knee Replacement Surgery with Mako SmartRobotics™

Central Indiana Orthopedics is proud to be the first orthopedic practice in the region to utilize Mako SmartRobotics™ for total hip and total/partial knee replacement procedures. Mako technology is available at our Fishers and Muncie outpatient surgery centers, or our surgeons can perform Mako robotic surgery at Ascension St. Vincent Fishers Hospital.

Our board-certified orthopedic surgeons use Mako technology to map out a personalized surgical plan using a 3D CT-based planning software so we can know more about your anatomy, which allows us to carry out a more predictable and accurate hip or knee replacement procedure. To date, we’ve helped over 2,500 patients get back to doing what they love with Mako-assisted surgeries.

Care That Goes With You

Natalie McClintick, Nurse Practitioner Patient Navigator at Central Indiana Orthopedics, is passionate about providing our outpatient hip and knee replacement patients with exceptional, personalized care. Patients receiving a hip or knee replacement at our Fishers or Muncie outpatient surgery centers will receive one-on-one joint education with Natalie prior to surgery to ensure the patient is comfortable and informed going into surgery. Upon discharge from the surgery center, post-op patients receive a wristband with Natalie’s name and contact information. It’s important to Natalie that our patients feel they have that “one person” to contact with any questions or concerns during their recovery. With this service, our patients have a Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of orthopedic experience at their disposal 24/7.
