Preventing Coronavirus Spread at Central Indiana Orthopedics

As the number of confirmed Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) cases continues to increase, as well as the risk of spreading the virus, we want to ensure we are keeping the health of our patients, staff and their families top of mind.

All Central Indiana Orthopedics offices will remain open to continue providing orthopedic care to those in need. However, we do understand the concerns surrounding this virus, so we will be taking extra precaution to protect our patients and staff. We are increasing our efforts to ensure our facility is clean and sanitized every day. As always, patient exam rooms are being cleaned and sanitized after each patient. Countertops and desks are being sanitized several times throughout the day. Waiting areas are being cleaned and sanitized daily. Most importantly, we are encouraging frequent handwashing from our staff, and from our patients.

As a preventative measure, we are asking each patient upon arriving for their appointment if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms, upper respiratory symptoms, and if they have traveled abroad recently. If they answer “yes” to any of these questions, we encourage the patient to reschedule if it is a non-urgent matter. For more urgent cases that are unable to be rescheduled, at a minimum we will require the patient to wear a mask, which we will provide.

Lastly, any patient with a non-urgent matter is welcome to reschedule their appointment.

If you have any questions or would like to reschedule your appointment, please call our office 800-622-6575 or visit ciocenter.com to access our Chat assistant. Thank you for doing your part to help protect yourself and our staff from this disease.
