Central Indiana Orthopedics is pleased to announce that Dr. Adam Lyon, board-certified foot and ankle surgeon, will be joining our practice on Monday, January 25th. He will be practicing at our Anderson and Fishers offices.
Dr. Lyon has been practicing in the Indianapolis area since 2017. As a board-certified orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon, he enjoys the myriad of patients and treatments offered by orthopedic foot and ankle surgery. “It’s important to me to be hands on in my practice, especially since patient interaction is a significant component of orthopedics,” said Dr. Lyon. “There is also the gratification of being able to address and correct a wide variety of musculoskeletal issues with both surgical and non-surgical treatments.
Dr. Lyon specializes in a variety of conditions of the foot and ankle, including lower extremity trauma, hammer toes, foot and ankle pain, bunions, arthritis, sprains, sports injuries, deformities and flat feet. He is passionate about learning each patient’s goals and helping them achieve those as quickly as possible. “I believe in a teamwork approach to care in which my patient, my team and I work together to achieve the best possible outcomes,” said Dr. Lyon. “I want my patients to maintain their mobility and activity with a goal of being pain-free.”
Dr. Lyon earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. After medical school, he completed residence training in orthopedic surgery at KCMS/MSU and Western Michigan University School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and went on to complete an Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Grand Rapids Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
