Recognizing Athletic Trainers During National Athletic Training Month

Happy National Athletic Training Month to all athletic trainers! Knowing how vital athletic trainers are to the success of athletes, the profession deserves way more credit and appreciation than it gets. Not only do athletic trainers spring into action when injury occurs at sporting events, but they are instrumental in the athlete’s rehabilitation process and providing education for injury prevention.

We are privileged to have a talented team of athletic trainers in our offices who work alongside many physicians in clinic, including the Walk-In Clinics, and provide outreach to local schools and athletic clubs. Additionally, CIO doctors who serve as Team Physicians at local universities and high schools have the opportunity to work closely with the athletic trainers at those organizations.

Athletic trainers – THANK YOU for your expertise, compassion and commitment to the many hours you dedicate treating athletes. The care you provide allows athletes at all levels the opportunity to pursue their dreams and goals.
