Thanksgiving Recipes to Promote Joint Health (Part 3)

Hello! If you’re just catching this series, we’ve been sharing delicious recipes that promote healthy joints. In part 1, we shared a butternut squash recipe packed with nutrients and vitamins. Part 2, we shared a cranberry recipe. Both dishes are great to share with family and friends at your upcoming Thanksgiving gathering.

Today, we are sharing a pumpkin pie recipe that contains ingredients to help fight inflammation, plus it’s packed with vitamins. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 15oz can pumpkin pie
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Pie crust
  • Almond milk whip

Instructions

  • Add eggs to a bowl and whisk for 30 seconds
  • Add pumpkin puree, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, salt and whisk
  • Pour into pie crust and back for 55 minutes at 350 F
