We are pleased to announce that Dr. Steven Herbst, board-certified/fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon, has expanded his practice and is now scheduling patients at Central Indiana Orthopedics Fishers. Dr. Herbst has been practicing at CIO since 2002 and primarily sees patients at CIO Muncie and Anderson offices. Expanding his clinic, he is looking forward to providing personalized care to patients in the Fishers community.
Dr. Herbst is dedicated to positive patient outcomes. He understands foot and ankle injuries are painful and make daily life difficult, so his goal is to treat each patient with understanding and compassion and to get them back to their favorite activities. He has a passion for teaching, missions and innovation, and has co-designed and patented an ankle replacement implant. Additionally, Dr. Herbst enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience teaching orthopedic courses nationally and internationally. His greatest joy comes from serving internationally on the missions field, including taking annual trips to Central America with Operation Walk to perform complex lower extremity reconstructions.
